What game will you create? A video game challenge was created for Best Buy and Electronic Arts (EA). By inventing a video game, kids were encouraged to keep active while playing video games.

PROGRAM FEATURES:

• A customized, branded website with activities for teachers, parents and kids

• Teacher guides, classroom activities and backpack stuffers were distributed to engineering, art and computer science teachers and taught core concepts of video game design

• A national contest for kids ages 6 to 19 to enter their concepts for healthy and educational video games

RESULTS:

• 11,000 Middle and High schools reached

• 4,000,000 households reached

• 80,000,000 media impressions

• Winner met with EA game developers who developed concept into a game
